Bear tranquilized, removed from Salt Lake City's Avenues neighborhood
Utah Division of Wildlife Resources officials began receiving reports about a bear roaming around the Upper Avenues on Tuesday. Lydia Foreman was among the residents who spotted the creature. They're used to seeing deer and rabbits from the window, as well as cougars and bobcats on rare occasions.
