EPHRAIM—Well before the first shovel of dirt was turned and before the Ephraim Utah Temple began rising above 200 North, former mayor John Scott found himself walking potential temple sites with President Russell M. Nelson, discussing where the new House of the Lord should be built.
An Ethics Advisory Committee determined that a judge may teach a business law class at a local university if the teaching occurs primarily during lunch breaks. The committee concluded that the time commitment would not unreasonably interfere with judicial duties.

The public is invited to tour the Ephraim Utah temple during an upcoming open house. The event is scheduled to run from Sept. 2 through Sept. 19, excluding Sundays.
