Zion-Mt. Carmel Highway to reopen after large rockfall

ZION NATIONAL PARK (ABC4) — Zion-Mt. Carmel Highway is set to reopen on October 9 after a large rockfall. On September 30, a large rock formation collapsed on part of the Zion-Mt. Carmel Highway, damaging the road and blocking travel. Due to this, the park partially closed the highway so that crews could effectively respond.
