The FBI has disrupted a planned attack aimed at the UFC Freedom 250 event held at the White House on Sunday.
FBI Director Kash Patel said on Tuesday that the agency became aware of the plan on June 10 after monitoring Signal chats.
The intercepted plan involved 23 individuals who resided outside of the Washington, D.C. area.
According to Patel, the FBI was able to block the attack before it could be carried out.
