Book Fair Returns to Park View November 16–20

Why do we hold a book fair every year? Beyond the fun, the fair plays a big role in supporting our school — and this year's first fair is just around the corner.

How the Book Fair Gives Back

Scholastic returns a percentage of every sale to our school in Scholastic Dollars. There are several factors that determine how much we earn — ask the organizers if you'd like to know more.

Last year, those earnings added up to more than $2,500 for our school libraries. The funds are put to work in ways students see every day, including Scholastic Dollars used to buy the books for the birthday table, where every student at Park View gets to pick out a book for their birthday.

Chances to Win

Every book fair includes a drawing, and about 35 students receive a $10 certificate to spend on books at the fair.

Fair Details

Dates: November 16th–20th

Shopping hours: 30 minutes before and after school

Special evening event: Thursday, November 19th, 5:30–7:30 p.m., during the 5th grade Wax Museum

Volunteers Needed!

Organizers are asking families to sign up to help using the QR code on the poster. Volunteers receive a $5 certificate to spend at the book fair for each shift they sign up for.

Whether kids purchase a book or not, the fair brings a fun energy to the school — and books are awesome for kids.

Thank you for helping make it happen!
