A Tucson man arrested for alleged unruly behavior on an American Airlines flight has been fired from his real estate job. 67-year-old Layne Arthur Lundeen was reportedly arrested after making racial slurs and misogynistic comments during the flight.
Long Realty released a statement on its Facebook page announcing that Lundeen is no longer affiliated with the company. The firm stated that it promptly ended its association with the individual upon learning of the incident involving criminal charges.
In a statement, Long Realty noted that the reported conduct was inconsistent with the professionalism, integrity, compassion, and respect for others expected from those associated with the company. The company stated it has no tolerance for conduct that falls short of its expectations.
Long Realty expressed that its thoughts are with the passengers, crew members, and others affected by the incident.
