Robin Goomes claimed a historic third consecutive title at the 2026 women's Red Bull Rampage, according to a report published October 8. The victory marks the first time in mountain bike history that men and women descended from the same start gate, sharing sections of their lines during the competition.
Goomes secured her third straight win by improving her performance in a second run after trailing Hannah Bergemann by 0.63 points after the first run. Her winning run included a flat spin 360, a suicide no-hander, and backflips. For her performance, Goomes received the Utah Sports Commission Best Trick Award for her flat spin 360.
Hannah Bergemann finished in second place, earning the BFGoodrich Tires Toughness Award after recovering from a crash during a practice session on the 40-foot Big Lebowski drop. Kirsten Van Horne completed the podium in third place, marking her evolution from a 2025 rookie to a podium threat.
The 2026 event was held at the original Red Bull Rampage venue, featuring a new upper section that made it the tallest venue in the event's history. This increased verticality resulted in a significant increase in digging challenges, with Janelle Soukop noting that the number of features was double that of the previous year.
Other awards included the Anker Moment of the Day for Chelsea Kimball, the Kelly McGarry Spirit Award for Janelle Soukop, the Oakley Meta Best Style Award for Vinny Armstrong, and The Cat Compact Digger Award for Georgia Astle's team.
The 2026 competition took place during the 25th anniversary of Red Bull Rampage. Competition director Todd Barber noted that the event felt like a new chapter for the sport, observing that men and women are increasingly working together to build courses and scheme their lines at the same level.
