An unlikely hero helped Waterford earn its ninth girls soccer title in school history Saturday at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman. Senior Jessica Miller, a former goalkeeper, scored the game’s only goal early in the second half to lift the second-seeded Ravens past No. 1 Maeser Prep in the 2A state championship match on a cool, windless afternoon.
