QuikTrip has officially opened its first Utah store in Marriott-Slaterville, bringing its signature QT Kitchens and a 24-hour customer experience to Northern Utah. Located at 1675 W. 12th St., the new site sits just west of Interstate 15 along the 12th Street corridor to serve Weber County families, commuters, and travelers.
The Marriott-Slaterville location is built on the company's travel center concept and features 16 gas pumps, six high-flow diesel bays for tractor-trailers, and ample parking. The store offers TOP TIER certified gasoline designed to help maintain engine cleanliness and long-term performance.
A central feature of the store is the QT Kitchens foodservice program, which provides made-to-order meals, breakfast sandwiches, fresh pizza, hot dogs, and grab-and-go options. QuikTrip Corporate Communications Manager Aisha Jefferson stated that the company aims to care as much about the customer at the counter as the customer at the pump.
A grand opening celebration is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring product samples, prizes, and family-friendly activities.
The new store is expected to create approximately 24 local jobs. QuikTrip provides employees with competitive pay, medical coverage, tuition reimbursement, and comprehensive 401(k) benefits.
In addition to local employment, QuikTrip donates 5% of its annual net profits to charitable organizations, focusing on public safety and at-risk youth. The company plans to continue its expansion across the Beehive State, with the next Utah store scheduled to open in Springville in December 2026.
QuikTrip Corporation is headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Since 1958, the company has grown to operate more than 1,250 stores in 23 states with over 34,000 employees.
