Miles Victors completed a 420-mile run from north to south across Utah to raise money for the national nonprofit Still I Run. The trek, which began on World Mental Health Day, concluded in St. George on October 18, 2026, setting a new record for the route.
The run covered 420 miles, starting in Cornish near the Idaho border and finishing in St. George. The route traveled through Cache Valley, Brigham City, Ogden, Salt Lake City, and Utah County before moving through Cedar City, Kanarraville, and Leeds. Victors completed the distance in 8 days, 6 hours, and 36 minutes, surpassing the previous record held by Adam Burns, who took the record from Mason Wright in the fall of 2025.
The expedition aimed to raise $25,000 for Still I Run, an organization that promotes running for mental well-being. While the run's original target was 7 days and 8 hours, Victors adjusted the schedule due to severe illness and wild weather from Hurricane Rachel during the early stages of the trek. According to the project's documentation, $2,803 had been raised toward the $25,000 goal as of September 29, 2026.
The traverse featured various sponsors and partners, including Luna Sandals, Squak, Ombraz, Black Diamond, and Second Wind Run Co, a local run shop in Utah. Victors also released music during the run, including the album Songs For The Crossing, to assist with the effort.
