The Nebo School District celebrated its 2025-2026 Elementary Teachers of the Year during an April Board Meeting. The event recognized educators for their dedication, innovative teaching, and impact on young learners within the district.
Samantha Jasperson, a teacher from Park View Elementary, received the distinction of overall Nebo School District Elementary Teacher of the Year.
Jasperson was recognized for her individualized approach to instruction. She met with third-grade students individually to establish specific academic milestones, creating a classroom environment where progress was visible and personal.
To mark the achievement, Jasperson received several items from community partners. Murdock Ford in Santaquin provided a one-year vehicle lease, while Cyprus Credit Union provided a $500 check. Additionally, Getaway Today provided a $500 gift voucher, and the Nebo School District presented an honorary plaque and a district award check.
