The Mountainous Planning District Planning Commission held a meeting on Aug. 20, 2026, to address various land use items, according to a notice revision published July 30.
During the meeting, the commission was scheduled to review an ordinance amendment project intended to reorganize Title 19 Zoning. This project, presented by Curtis Woodward, was designed to be discussed in three phases. The first phase included an overview of several chapters, such as definitions, parks and open space, mountain resort zones, forestry zones, agricultural and foothill agricultural zones, and various residential and commercial zones.
The agenda also included a public hearing regarding a resolution to amend the Salt Lake County land use fee schedule, which was also presented by Curtis Woodward. Additionally, the commission was scheduled to approve the minutes from the July 16, 2026, Planning Commission meeting.
The meeting was held at 2001 South State Street, N1-110, in Salt Lake City. Participation was available via WebEx and by phone.
