Ogden will host a variety of community events throughout October 2026, according to a September 29 report by The Ogdenite. The month's schedule includes local festivals, art exhibitions, and live entertainment across various venues in the Ogden area.
Several outdoor and community festivals are scheduled for the month. The Ogden Farmers Market, presented by Ogden Downtown Alliance, will occur on Saturdays through Oct. 17 at Historic 25th Street from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. SnowWiesn Oktoberfest at Snowbasin Resort will take place on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. through Oct. 18. The 12th Annual Ogden Pride Festival is scheduled for Oct. 3-4 at the Ogden Amphitheater, and the Ogden Valley Harvest Festival will be held on Oct. 3 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Additionally, the Northern Utah TrailFest will run from Oct. 2 to Oct. 4 at North Fork, featuring bike and trail races, guided hikes, and live music.
Live performances and theater productions are set for various venues. On Oct. 1, Rocktober featuring The Proper Way will be held at Ogden Dinosaur Park. Peery’s Egyptian Theater will host several events, including Moms Unhinged Stand Up Comedy on Oct. 1, Garrison Keillor on Oct. 2, and the musical Spring Awakening on Oct. 2, 3, and 7. Other scheduled performances include Frank Sinatra with Take 5 on Oct. 5, Silent Film Phantom of the Opera on Oct. 6, and Big Thief at the Ogden Amphitheater on Oct. 7. The Weber State University Theater will present Dracula from Oct. 15 to Oct. 19, and the Rocky Horror Picture Show will be held at Peery’s Egyptian Theater from Oct. 24 to Oct. 26.
Art and cultural exhibits will be available throughout the month. The Luminous Ecologies outdoor illuminated art exhibit at Dumke Arts Plaza is scheduled through Oct. 15. The "Of This Place: Great Basin Neighbors" exhibit at the Shaw Gallery in Weber State University will be on display through Nov. 20. Additionally, Cinema Sundays will feature a screening of Night of the Living Dead on Oct. 4 at the Dumke Arts Plaza, and the Dia de los Muertos en Ogden will be held on Oct. 11 at the Ogden Amphitheater.
Many of these events are free to the public, such as the Ogden Farmers Market and the Ogden Pride Festival. Other events require admission, such as the Halloween Demolition Derby at the Golden Spike Events Center on Oct. 10, which costs $33, and the Witches Night Out at The Jungle Room on Oct. 2, which offers free admission.
The month's festivities conclude with several late-October events, including a Halloween Bar Crawl in Downtown Ogden and the Ogden Mountain Film Festival at Peery’s Egyptian Theater, which is scheduled for Nov. 5.
