Summit County's 8th Community Noxious Weeds Tour was announced in a report published August 25.
The event takes place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Richardson Flat Park & Ride. It costs nothing and requires RSVP. Participants can receive hands-on instruction to identify and manage Summit County’s noxious weeds. Attendees can also chat with local experts from Summit County Weeds Division, Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter, Summit CWMA, Basin Recreation, and USU Extension – Summit County. Visitors are encouraged to bring questions, comfortable shoes, and join the effort to keep the community noxious weed-free.
The tour is part of a broader commitment to preserving Summit County’s environment and aesthetic appeal.
