Granite School District announced several openings within its Nutrition Services department in a report published August 31. The available positions include multiple Nutrition Service Worker roles and a substitute position.
According to the August 31 report, Nutrition Service Worker positions are available for Skyline High School, Evergreen Junior High, and Olympus High School. These roles are based at the Bates Food Service Center. The starting pay for these positions is $19.63 per hour for the 2026-27 school year. The Skyline High School position requires 25 hours per week, while the Evergreen Junior High and Olympus High School positions each require 28.75 hours per week. These roles require a high school diploma or GED and a current Utah recognized Food Handler's permit.
A Substitute Nutrition Service Worker position is also available through the Bates Central Kitchen. This role involves supporting school meal preparation and service in the absence of a regular worker and may be assigned to various food service locations across the district. This position offers a starting pay of $18.29 per hour for the 2026-27 school year. Like the other roles, this position requires a high school diploma or GED.
