Logan City will celebrate Pioneer Day on July 24, 2026, with a full day of activities at Willow Park, located at 450 West 700 South. The festivities include athletic tournaments, parades, and live entertainment.
Morning Event Registration Times
The morning schedule begins with registration for several events. Registration opens at 7:00 AM for the noncompetitive 1 and 3 mile fun run, followed by registration for the open grass volleyball tournament at 7:15 AM. At 8:30 AM, registration begins for the 3 on 3 basketball tournament, 3 on 3 soccer tournament, horseshoe tournament, and Pioneer Day cornhole tournament.
Athletic Tournament Schedule Details
Athletic competitions will continue throughout the day. The noncompetitive 1 and 3 mile fun run begins at 7:30 AM, while the open grass volleyball tournament starts at 7:15 AM. The 3 on 3 basketball tournament is scheduled from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Other midday competitions include the horseshoe tournament and the Pioneer Day cornhole tournament, both held from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM. Additionally, the 3 on 3 soccer tournament will take place during the day.
Family Activities and Parade Info
Family-oriented activities are also scheduled for the celebration. Free kids crafts will be available, and a candy cannon event is set for different age groups, including children ages 0-5 years at 11:30 PM, 6-8 years at 11:45 PM, and 9-12 years at 12:00 PM. The Pioneer Day parade is scheduled for 7:30 AM, and food and craft booths will be open from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
Evening Music and Fireworks Display
Evening entertainment features multiple musical acts and a fireworks display. High Desert Surfer is scheduled to perform at 7:00 PM, followed by Erica Cheyenne and the Travelin’ Hippies from 8:30 PM until dark. Other evening performances include Rowdy McCarran, Amarillo, By Morning, and a George Strait tribute at 10:00 PM. The celebration will conclude with fireworks at 11:00 PM.
Additional Local Community Events
Other scheduled events include Bingo Bonanza from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM and the Family Fun Refit. Additionally, the Pioneer Museum, located at 15 Federal Ave, will host pioneer crafts and games from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Golf Tournament Registration Information
