Austin Smotherman earned his first PGA Tour win by claiming the title at the 2026 Bank of Utah Championship on Sunday, according to a report published October 4. The 32-year-old professional golfer secured the victory at Black Desert Resort in Ivins, Utah, finishing with a score of 26 under par.
Smotherman maintained his lead throughout the final round to finish two shots ahead of runner-up Doug Ghim, who finished at 24 under par. For his performance, Smotherman earned $1,080,000 from the $6 million total purse. Ghim received $654,000 for his second-place finish.
Several players tied for third place, including David Ford and Trace Crowe, both of whom finished at 23 under par and earned $354,000. Following them, Kevin Streelman and Ben James tied for fifth at 22 under par, each earning $231,750. Luke Clanton and Steven Fisk tied for seventh at 21 under par, with each player taking home $195,000.
Other notable payouts from the tournament include Rico Hoey, Neal Shipley, and Johnny Keefer, who tied for 10th at 19 under par and earned $163,500 each. Alejandro Tosti, Lee Hodges, Harry Hall, Billy Horschel, Michael Brennan, Zach Bauchou, Ben Kohles, and A.J. Ewart all tied for 13th at 18 under par, earning $108,750 per player.
