The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources has provided updated 2026 fish stocking information for various locations throughout the state. The records detail recent and upcoming fish releases, including species such as rainbow trout, tiger trout, brown trout, and kokanee.
Davis and Bountiful County Updates
Significant stocking efforts have been recorded in several counties. In Davis County, Adams Reservoir saw multiple rainbow trout stockings between March and May 2026, with quantities ranging from 594 to 2,095 fish. Bountiful Pond also received several rainbow trout releases throughout the spring.
Summit County Large-Scale Releases
In Summit County, large-scale stocking occurred at Fish Lake, with a single release of 100,351 rainbow trout on May 22, 2026. Rockport Reservoir also saw substantial kokanee stocking in April, with amounts totaling over 90,000 fish.
Major Sevier County Stocking Activities
In Sevier County, Fish Lake has been a major site for stocking activities. Records show massive releases of kokanee, including quantities of 73,530 and 93,518 fish in March, as well as various rainbow trout and cutbow trout releases throughout the season.

In Washington County, Kolob Reservoir received approximately 5,025 rainbow trout and 11,600 cutbow trout in late May.
In San Juan County, various reservoirs such as Blanding Reservoir No. 3 and No. 4 were stocked with rainbow trout during the spring months.
In Weber County, recent activities include stocking at Harrisville City Pond and several releases at the Pond at Poulter Preserve.
