The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is overseeing a wide array of active construction and infrastructure projects throughout the state, according to information released by the agency on June 13.
Region One Construction Updates
In Region One, UDOT is conducting bridge work on I-84 in Box Elder County and near Weber Canyon. Other regional improvements include reconstruction of US-89 in Willard and safety projects for SR-13 in Brigham City. In Cache County, construction is underway on SR-30 from SR-23 to 10th West, alongside technology upgrades for Logan Canyon.
Region Two Corridor Improvements
Region Two projects focus heavily on the I-15 corridor and I-80. Active work includes reconstruction of I-15 from Farmington to Salt Lake City, as well as paving for I-80 at both Mountain Dell and Mouth of Parleys Canyon. In Salt Lake County, UDOT is managing paving for 700 East and 5600 West, while also conducting a transit study for the Point of the Mountain area between Draper and Lehi.
Region Three Infrastructure Efforts
In Region Three, infrastructure efforts include technology installations for Central Utah Fiber spanning Sevier to Utah Counties. In Juab County, UDOT is working on improvements to I-15 east of Mona and west of Levan, as well as paving US-6 from Elberta to Lynndyl. Utah County projects include mobility enhancements between American Fork and Pleasant Grove and construction on 2100 North.
