The Emery County Recreation Special Service District is scheduled to hold a board meeting on Oct. 12, 2026, according to a notice published Oct. 6. The meeting will address several items, including the 2026 amended budget and bids for a playground project.
The meeting is scheduled to run from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 75 South 400 East in Castle Dale, Utah. According to the meeting agenda, the board will conduct a roll call for members in attendance and review the approval of previous meeting minutes.
A significant portion of the meeting will focus on the 2026 amended budget for the Emery County Recreation SSD. The board will open a public hearing to receive comments regarding the amendment of the budget under Resolution No. 10-12-26 (A). Following the public hearing, the board will move to adopt and approve the amendment.
In addition to budget discussions, the board will meet to discuss and approve bids for the Complex playground project. The meeting will also include a financial report and the approval of bills for payment.
Other agenda items include upcoming events, board member concerns, and comments from the chairman. The board may also enter a closed or executive session as needed to discuss attorney/client communications regarding litigation or other matters allowed by law.
The Emery County Recreation Special Service District is a special service district government.
