Man sentenced after illegally poaching bull elk in Utah
SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — An Idaho man was sentenced after he illegally killed a bull elk in Utah. According to the Utah Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Division of Law Enforcement, they received a complaint from a concerned citizen in 2023.

Utah student population drops by nearly 16,000
SALT LAKE CITY — Utah's public school student population continues to fall, with 15,800 fewer students enrolled in schools this year than last, according to new numbers from the state school board. The state's public school enrollment peaked in 2022 with 674,800 students.
