Utah school districts and community organizations are transitioning into summer programming, with Ogden School District providing ongoing meal services and Ben Lomond Community Pool preparing to host weekly swimming clinics for high school students starting in July.
Free summer meal program details
The Ogden School District Summer Meals Program, which began on June 1, continues to provide free breakfast and lunch to children ages 0 to 18. Breakfast is served at school sites from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m., while lunch is available from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Upcoming youth swimming clinics
For student athletes, Ben Lomond Community Pool will host weekly swim clinics for students aged 13 to 18. The clinics, which feature instruction from coaches with over 50 years of combined experience, are scheduled for July 11, 18, and 25, as well as August 1, 8, and 15. The sessions run from 7:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. and cost $40 per clinic.
