The Great Basin Coordination Center is currently mobilizing incident resources throughout the Great Basin region and across the nation. The center oversees various dispatch operations and incident management team rotations to support wildfire and incident response efforts.
The coordination effort includes several dispatch centers located in Utah, such as the Color Country, Moab, Northern Utah, Richfield, and Uintah Basin centers. Other regional dispatch locations include sites in Idaho, Nevada, Wyoming, Arizona, and New Mexico.
For complex incident management, the center maintains rotations for both core season and offseason. The master rosters for Complex Incident Management Teams include CIMT 2 through CIMT 7. Additionally, Type 3 Incident Management Teams utilize specific rotation guidelines and mobilization rosters involving teams from Nevada, Idaho, and Wyoming.
The Great Basin Coordination Center provides various administrative and logistical tools, including predictive services for fire danger, weather, and air quality. The center also manages training programs, such as the 2026 GB IMT Pre-Season Training and the GB Priority Trainee Program.
