The inaugural Miles for Meals Fun Run is scheduled for Oct. 10 at Lorin Farr Park to help clear local school lunch debt. According to an Ogden School District notice, proceeds from the event will go directly toward school meal balances to help students focus on learning.
The event will take place on the trail from Lorin Farr Park to Big D Sports Park and back. The schedule includes packet pick-up and warm-up at 6:00 AM, with the race starting at 8:00 AM.
A post-run party will follow at Lorin Farr Park, featuring food trucks, local vendor booths, games for all ages, and prize drawings.
