Governor Spencer Cox is among those honoring two firefighter pilots who died in the line of duty. The incident occurred when their helicopter went down while they were battling the Widemouth 2 Fire in Sevier County.
The pilots involved in the accident were identified as Chris Andersen and Miles Elliott. According to a report from Gephardt Daily, officials noted that Andersen and Elliott dedicated their lives to serving others.
