Carbon County Clerk-Auditor Seth Marsing released information regarding the 2026 General Election in a report published September 3. According to the report, the General Election will be held in all voting precincts on Nov. 3, 2026, between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
To be qualified to vote, individuals must be United States citizens and have been residents of Utah for at least 30 days immediately before the election. Voters must be at least 17 years old on the date of the primary election and 18 years old before the next election date. Additionally, voters must currently live in the precinct where they have applied to register.
The deadline to register to vote in person, online, or by mail is Oct. 1, 2026. However, voters may still register on election day and vote provisionally. Mail-in ballots will be sent out from Oct. 13 through Oct. 27, 2026, and must be received by the Clerk's office by 8:00 p.m. on Nov. 3, 2026.
In-person early voting is scheduled for Oct. 27 through Oct. 30 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Ballot boxes will be available at six locations for dropping off any ballot:
