In a report published August 27, the South Jordan City Planning Commission announced it will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 PM at South Jordan City Hall.
The hearing will serve to review several items, including a conditional use permit for Master Auto Tech, located at 11048 Redwood Road, with David George listed as the applicant. Additionally, the commission will review Ordinance No. 2026-24, which involves legislative updates to Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) and accessory building standards within Chapters 17.08, 17.30, 17.40, and 17.130.030 of the City Code.
The meeting will be held in person at 1600 W. Towne Center Drive, South Jordan, Utah, and may also be joined virtually via Zoom. According to the notice, public comment is permitted only in person or in writing. Written comments must be submitted via email to Greg Schindler by 12:00 p.m. on September 8, 2026.
