Green River Outlaw Days returns November 6-7 with a schedule featuring cowboy-action shooting, a vendor fair, and a BBQ dinner with live music by Brenn Hill. Tickets for the dinner and concert must be purchased by October 31st.

Green River Outlaw Days returns Nov. 6-7 with cowboy-action shooting
Revolvers, country and cowboys mark the return of Green River's Outlaw Days on Nov. 6 and 7. Green River Events Coordinator Angelique Cordingley joined the KOAL newsroom to talk about the event. Outlaw Days is an annual event, and it features multiple styles of cowboy-action shooting, Cordingley said.

Draft study recommends Delta as focus for Utah spaceport development
A draft study recommends that Utah focus its first spaceport development work near Delta, while preserving Green River West as a possible site for future operations. The study, prepared for the Utah Legislature’s Spaceport Exploration Committee in preparation for its October 30th meeting, evaluated seven candidate areas: Delta, Wendover, Green River, Promontory, Bluff, Kanab and Vernal.

Lady Pirates close season with pride as young team looks ahead
MANILA — The No. 17 Green River Lady Pirates volleyball team traveled to Manila on Wednesday, Oct. 21, to take on the No. 16 Manila Mustangs in the first round of the 1A state tournament. Despite battling to find their rhythm against the home team, the Lady Pirates saw their season come to an end in three sets.
