BYU will face UCF in a road game scheduled for Saturday, October 24, according to a report published October 18. The matchup will kick off at 3:30 ET and will be broadcast on FOX.
The kickoff time for the remaining Week 8 games was finalized Sunday morning. The game against UCF comes as BYU seeks to maintain momentum following a historic victory over Notre Dame.
UCF currently holds a 3-3 record and is 1-2 in the Big 12. After starting the season 3-1, the Knights have lost their last two road games, falling 27-17 to a top 20 Houston team and 42-28 against Oklahoma State.
Keyone Jenkins, a transfer from FIU, has started the last three games for UCF and has provided a spark to the team's passing game. While the Knights' defense has been largely effective this season, it recently allowed a high-powered Oklahoma State offense to pull away.
The matchup is noted as a potential letdown spot for BYU, who will travel two time zones for the game following a bye week.
