The Orlando Pride were scheduled to host the Utah Royals at Inter.co Stadium on Saturday, August 29, for Fourth Wing Night, according to an August 28 statement. The match was set to kick off at 7 p.m. ET following the opening of gates at 6 p.m. ET.
The matchday festivities featured Fourth Wing-themed areas, including a book truck, a photo booth, and a bookmark-making station. Fans could participate in Fourth Wing trivia before the match and a halftime gauntlet challenge.
Mane Street Plaza, presented by Publix, was scheduled to open at 6 p.m. ET outside Gate B. This area was set to feature a live DJ, a face painter, a henna artist, a photo booth, a dunk tank, inflatables, soccer darts, a free-kick challenge, and tailgate games. Other offerings included the Heineken Star Bar, a new Jameson cart, and the Publix Video Game Station.
Special merchandise for the event included a Fourth Wing Merch Collection and a Dragon Rider Pride or Die patch. These items were made available at all retail locations inside Inter.co Stadium and via ShopOrlandoPride.
The matchday timeline included the opening of the Ticket Office at 5 p.m. ET and the starting XI reveal at 6:05 p.m. ET. The procession was scheduled to begin at 7:01 p.m. ET, leading to a 7:08 p.m. ET kickoff.
Inter.co Stadium implemented several technology upgrades during the off-season, such as phone charging stations and new food and beverage offerings. Sensory bags were made available through the Guest Services Booth in partnership with Kulture City due to the use of fireworks, pyrotechnics, and lighting effects during the event.
