Nebo School District is calling on students to showcase their creativity, skills, and unique talents in a district-wide event celebrating America’s 250th anniversary. According to a notice on the Mapleton Junior High website, the showcase is designed to highlight student achievement while helping students make connections between history, their communities, and the future.
The district is also facilitating several community and school-related initiatives. Tabitha's Way Local Food Pantry hosts an annual Gear Up for School event where students can receive free backpacks filled with school supplies and a free lunch on site. The 2026 event was scheduled for August 1 at Landmark High School in Spanish Fork.
Other district activities include the 9/11 Remembrance Event held at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds, an event organized by the Major Brent Taylor Foundation. Additionally, the district provides resources through the Finding Nebo Podcast and the Nebo School District app, which includes two-way parent-teacher communication features.
Families can also access free and reduced lunch applications for the 2026-27 school year through the LINQ app or the LINQCONNECT website. The district notes that eligibility does not carry over from year to year, requiring families to reapply annually.
