In Utah County, Maeser Preparatory Academy is utilizing a classical liberal arts curriculum to focus on character development and college preparation. The tuition-free public charter high school uses the Socratic Method and Great Books to teach students about morality, truth, and justice.
Maeser Preparatory Academy reported an average SAT score of 1330 among its students and a graduation rate exceeding 95%. The school's curriculum includes the study of Latin and Greek, as well as experiential learning opportunities such as Winterim.
McKay-Dee Hospital Regional Healthcare Services
Providing regional medical infrastructure, McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden offers 24/7 emergency care and various community wellness classes. The hospital also provides 'Hospital at Home' services, which deliver acute or chronic medical treatment directly to patients' residences.
Intermountain Health, the operator of McKay-Dee Hospital, also highlighted recent community engagements, such as a collaboration with the Las Vegas Raiders to honor young cancer patients.
