A climbing accident in Little Cottonwood Canyon led to a multi-agency rescue operation on Saturday.
Search and rescue crews, including the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Department Search and Rescue, Unified Fire, and a DPS helicopter, worked together to rescue a climber who fell about 30 feet.
The incident occurred during a climb in the canyon. According to a report from the climber's friend, the patient took a 30-foot fall while on the fourth pitch.
