The Utah Division of Water Resources has released the 2026 State Water Plan and the public comment period is now open. Under Utah Code, the Division of Water Resources is required to periodically publish a state water plan. “Each state water plan strives to identify current water use and future demand throughout the state as well as provide recommendations for policy, fiscal support and implementation of findings by governmental and private institutions.
