Craftober Fest 2026 took place on Saturday, October 3, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Located at 2460 S. Oakland Ave, between Main Street and West Temple, the event celebrated the South Salt Lake creative community through food, live music, and art.
The festival included a curated market with over 100 vendors selling items such as custom stickers, fine art prints, comic books, and handcrafted leather goods. The event also featured plein air artists who were tasked with painting live scenes inspired by their surroundings.
Following the festival, a silent auction was held on October 15 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Level Crossing Brewery. This auction featured completed artwork created by the plein air artists. Attendees for the auction were required to be 21 or older.
South Salt Lake Arts, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, organized the event. The organization relies on community contributions to fund public art, art classes, and grants for neighborhood events.
