The Washington County Water Conservancy District has announced several incentives designed to help home and business owners save water and reduce costs.
These programs target various aspects of residential and commercial water usage, ranging from landscaping changes to hardware upgrades.
One available incentive focuses on water efficient landscaping. Property owners can receive up to $2 for each square foot of grass that is removed and replaced with water-efficient landscaping.
Additionally, the district offers a rebate for smart controllers. Customers may receive up to $100 when they purchase an eligible WaterSense smart controller.
For those looking to update bathroom fixtures, the district provides an incentive for toilet replacement. This program allows owners to receive up to $150 when replacing an old toilet with a WaterSense-labeled model.
