Utah Valley senior forward Sadie Beardall has been named to the TopDrawerSoccer National Team of the Week for the second time this season, an organization announced Tuesday. The honor follows Beardall's recorded three goals and four assists for 10 points during a pair of Big West Conference victories last week.
Beardall contributed to a 6-1 win over Sacramento State on Wednesday night at UCCU Stadium, where she recorded two goals and two assists. She followed that performance with another goal and two assists during the Wolverines' 4-0 road victory over UC Santa Barbara on Saturday night. Throughout the week, Beardall averaged five points per game and recorded five shots on goal in eight attempts. These performances helped Utah Valley outscore opponents 10-1 and extend an unbeaten streak to 10 matches.
In addition to the national recognition, Beardall was named the Big West Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, Oct. 26. Her previous TopDrawerSoccer National Team of the Week honor occurred on Sept. 29. Utah Valley enters its next match against Long Beach State with an 11-4-3 overall record and a 7-0-2 mark in Big West play, currently holding the top spot in the conference standings.
Adam Fife, founder and CEO of CenCore Group, has been named general manager of the Utah Valley University men's basketball program. Fife will work alongside head coach Todd Phillips to provide strategic leadership in areas such as resource development, program operations, and long-term planning. Director of Athletics Dr. Jared Sumsion stated that Fife's experience in building organizations and developing relationships will be invaluable as the program competes in the evolving landscape of college athletics.
The men's basketball program, led by Phillips for four seasons, holds a 66-34 overall record. The team has achieved back-to-back Western Athletic Conference regular-season championships and is preparing for its inaugural season as members of the Big West Conference in 2026-27. Fife's appointment follows the addition of business executive Vess Pearson as general manager of the Wolverine soccer programs.
Utah Valley is scheduled to host Long Beach State at UCCU Stadium on Wednesday night, with kickoff set for 6 p.m. MT. A victory could allow the Wolverines to clinch a share of the Big West regular-season championship, marking the program's first conference title as a member of the Big West.
