The Kilby Block Party has unveiled the first phase of its 2027 lineup, featuring Grammy-winning rock band Deftones and The Strokes as headliners for the three-day festival at the Utah State Fairpark. The event, which features more than 70 musical artists, is scheduled to run from May 14 through May 16.
Festival History and Scale
The 2027 iteration will mark the eighth edition of the music festival. Originally launched in 2019 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Kilby Court venue, the event has hosted alumni such as Devo, Weezer, Lorde, Hayley Williams, and Modest Mouse. Last year, the festival drew more than 16,000 fans.
Diverse Musical Lineup
The announced lineup for the festival includes a variety of genres ranging from alternative metal to funk and electronic soul. In addition to Deftones and The Strokes, performers scheduled for the event include Jungle, Fontaines D.C., Slayyyter, Lil Yachty, Kurt Vile, Silversun Pickups, IDLES, Spoon, and Two Door Cinema Club.
Ticket Information and Future Reveals
General tickets for the festival are scheduled to go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. Organizers noted that Early Bird Tickets for the festival sold out in record time this year and warned that general admission tickets are likely to sell out quickly. Organizers also indicated that a second phase of artist announcements is expected soon.
