Northern Utah hosted a wide array of community gatherings, festivals, and recreational activities during the period of July 11 through July 19, 2026. The events spanned several cities including Ogden, Layton, Farmington, and Kaysville, offering programming for all ages.
In Ogden, the week featured the Muddy Dash at the Golden Spike Event Center and the Farmers Market Ogden in the downtown area. Other local highlights included a Historic 25th Street Walking Tour and the Taste of Ogden Food Tour held at Union Station. Musical performances were also scheduled, such as the Lindquist Family Symphony Pops Concert and Fireworks at Weber State University.
Professional baseball was a prominent feature with the Ogden Raptors playing at Lindquist Field on July 15, 16, and 17. On July 16, the venue also hosted a special movie night featuring The Sandlot.
Other regional municipalities held diverse programs. Farmington hosted a Festival Days Parade on July 11, while Kaysville featured performances at the Ed Kenley Amphitheater, including Staycation and Paddington. In Syracuse, the community celebrated National Hot Dog Day with Cops and Dogs at the Island Splash Pad.
Library branches throughout Weber County provided educational and wellness opportunities. Programs included yoga, sound baths, and book discussions in North Ogden, Roy, Riverdale, and Ogden Valley. Specialized workshops such as a sourdough bread class in Ogden and a printmaking workshop in West Haven were also part of the regional schedule.
Beyond Northern Utah, nearby areas participated in the seasonal activity. Salt Lake City hosted the Samoan Heritage Festival, while Cache Valley featured the Fry Street Chamber Music Festival at the USU Caine Performance Hall.
