The Washington County Planning Commission scheduled a public hearing to consider a proposed zone change for a 7.07-acre parcel located near Central, Utah, according to a notice published July 21, 2026.
The proposal involves transitioning the parcel from an A-20 (Agricultural 20-acre minimum lot size) zone to an A-5 (Agricultural 5-acre minimum lot size) zone.
The land under consideration is identified as 7090-A-3-NW. It is situated approximately west of State Highway 18 (Pinto Road) and north of Ence Place (5000 North), adjacent to the Dixie National Forest. The applicant for this zone change is John Littell.
The public hearing was scheduled for Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 1:30 PM. The meeting is set to take place in the Washington County Administration Building Commission Chambers at 111 E. Tabernacle, St. George, UT 84770, and will also be accessible via Zoom.
