The Central Utah Health Department has confirmed that a cat has tested positive for rabies in Millard County. According to a press release, the cat was an indoor/outdoor pet in the area outside of Delta and was likely exposed to rabies through contact with a wild animal while outdoors.
A 26-year-old man was booked into jail after his parents were found dead at their home in Delta, the Millard County Sheriff’s Office said. Deputies responded to the home at 10:58 p.m. Oct. 31 after a woman called 911 and said her son, Rett Riding, was acting erratically and had taken her and her husband hostage, according to the sheriff’s office.
