CASTLE DALE – The Emery County School District Board of Education discussed new cellphone restrictions, reading requirements and preparations for the upcoming school year during its Aug. 5 meeting at Castle Dale Elementary. During the work session, Business Administrator Jackie Allred provided an overview of RedRover, the district’s new hiring and absence management system.

Lady Spartan soccer welcomes the Millard Eagles to town

On Thursday, the Lady Spartan soccer squad welcomed the Millard Eagles to Castle Dale. Still looking for their first win of the season, the Lady Spartans could not keep the Eagles off the board as they were handed a 3-0 loss.
