Emmie is ready to help residents online, any time
Ask a question, report an issue, or find what you need from the City, any hour of the day, in more than 70 languages.
Eagle Mountain, say hello to Emmie!
Emmie is the City's new A.I. assistant, and her name says it all: she's the Eagle Mountain Municipal Information Expert. Whether it's 2 PM on a Tuesday or 11 PM on a Saturday, Emmie is ready to help you find answers, navigate City resources, and submit requests without waiting on hold or making a trip to City Hall.
With Eagle Mountain now home to more than 80,000 residents, the City wanted to make getting help as simple as sending a text. Emmie was built through a partnership with Citibot, a company that creates A.I. communication tools for local governments, and Eagle Mountain is among the first cities in Utah to put this technology to work for residents.
A familiar name for a city turning 30
If the name Emmie sounds familiar, there's a good reason. For nearly three decades, Emmie the Eagle has stood watch at the entrance to Eagle Mountain on Eagle Mountain Boulevard at SR-73, the Cory B. Wride Memorial Highway. After the monument was removed in spring 2025 for safety repairs, she was restored and returned to her perch this year, right back where she belongs.
Now, as Eagle Mountain celebrates its 30th anniversary as a city, Emmie is spreading her wings online. Think of the new Emmie as the digital version of the landmark that has welcomed residents home for years. The original keeps an eye on the front gate, and her digital counterpart is ready to help from your phone or computer. It's a fitting way to honor the City's past while looking ahead to the next 30 years!
Questions at midnight? Emmie's on it
Think of Emmie as a friendly guide to everything the City offers. You can ask her about City services and resources, get pointed to the right information quickly, report issues, and submit requests, all in a quick conversation.
Emmie also speaks your language. She supports more than 70 languages, so more of our neighbors can get help from the City in the language they're most comfortable using. It's one more step toward making Eagle Mountain a place where every resident feels welcome and included.
Two easy ways to say hello
Chat online: Visit eaglemountain.gov and click the chat icon in the bottom right corner of your screen. Emmie will greet you and help you get where you need to go.
Send a text: Prefer texting? Text “Hello” to (855) SO-EMMIE (855-763-6643) and Emmie will reply with helpful guidance. It's an easy way to ask questions, report issues, and get information without needing to call or visit in person.
Tip: Save Emmie's number in your phone so she's ready whenever you need her.
Need a real person? Emmie can make that happen
Emmie is smart, but some questions need a human touch. On both web chat and text, if you need more help than Emmie can give, she can pass your request along to City staff for personalized support. No question goes unanswered.
A quick heads-up: Emmie is here for City information and requests, not emergencies. If you have an emergency, always call 911.
Go ahead, give her a try
The next time you have a question for the City, skip the hold music and start a conversation with Emmie. Whether you're new to Eagle Mountain or have called it home for years, she's here to make City services easier to reach, day or night.
The City is proud to bring this new tool to residents and can't wait for you to meet her!
