The petition in Uintah County proposing that a change in county government be placed on the November ballot has been certified. A group of locals gathered signatures and Uintah County announced on Wednesday that the petition being certified begins the next phase of the process in which the Uintah County Commission will hold four public hearings within 45 days.

HABs can produce toxins dangerous to humans and animals.
