The group is composed of the school principal, employees, and parents or guardians of students.
The council holds several key responsibilities, including the approval of the school's yearly School Improvement Plan, the Professional Development Plan, and the Walking/Safe Routing Plan. Additionally, the group is responsible for writing the annual Trustlands Plan, which identifies academic needs and designs a plan to use state-allocated funds to address them.
For the 2025-2026 school year, the council membership includes Chair Daniel Bracken, Vice-Chair Brayden Waters, Secretary Stephanie Clark, Finance member AJ Cavasos, and members Albert Zwahlen, Donovan Crane, and Kathy Stowe. Principal Gailynn Warr also serves on the council.
