The City of Naples has announced that it is currently accepting letters of interest from residents for appointment to the Planning Commission.
Interested individuals must be registered voters and residents of Naples City. Applicants should be willing to attend regular meetings and fulfill the duties associated with the position.
The Planning Commission is responsible for guiding community growth and development. The role involves reviewing land use applications, making recommendations regarding zoning matters, and assisting in shaping long-term planning efforts for the city.
Meetings for the commission are typically held on the third Thursday of each month at 7:30 pm.
Letters of interest must include a brief statement regarding the applicant's background and their reasons for wanting to serve. Submissions are being accepted until May 26, 2026, at 3:00 pm.
