In Northern Utah, Salt Lake City was forecasted to experience partly cloudy and sunny conditions on August 26, with temperatures ranging from a low of 70 to a high of 97. Other locations in the region, such as Tooele, Ogden, and Provo, were expected to see a mix of partly cloudy, sunny, and thunderstorm conditions throughout the period.
Southern Utah saw extreme heat in St George, with temperatures forecasted at a high of 107 and a low of 77. Other areas in the southern region, including Price, Hanksville, and Cedar City, were expected to experience a variety of conditions ranging from sunny to thunderstorms.
Eastern Utah locations like Moab and Blanding were forecasted to have mostly sunny and partly cloudy conditions. The National Weather Service stated that this product is issued routinely in the early morning and late afternoon.
