The Tremonton City Planning Commission is seeking public input regarding a rezoning request for the Old Grist Mill area, according to a September 30 notice. The proposed change involves amending the existing split-zone designation for two specific parcels to a single designation of Mixed Use (MU).
The hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the Tremonton City Hall located at 102 S. Tremont St. in the Council Chambers. The request seeks to change the current zoning of parcels 05-042-0194 and 05-042-0222 from Mixed Use (MU) and Residential (R1-10) to being completely zoned as Mixed Use (MU). The properties are located at approximately 935 East Main Street in Tremonton City.
The notice also indicates that this item is scheduled for discussion at an upcoming Neighborhood Partnership Initiative (NPI) East District meeting. That meeting will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall.
