Lincoln Academy released an announcement on October 26 outlining a variety of scheduled activities and school updates for the week of October 27 through October 30. The update includes details regarding student celebrations, upcoming school events, and various campus programs.
Several events are scheduled for the remainder of the week. Hiatt's Greek Olympics is scheduled for October 27 at 11:30 AM, followed by 6th Grade Christmas Carol Auditions at 2:30 PM on October 27. On October 28, the school will hold an Honor Roll Assembly at 9:45 AM, Mrs. Garner's 2nd Grade Greek Olympics at 12:00 PM, and a Girls Basketball Game at 4:00 PM. The school will also host a special Halloween lunch all day on October 29.
A variety of Halloween celebrations are scheduled for October 30. These include a Halloween Parade at 9:30 AM, Mrs. Bement's Halloween Parade at 11:30 AM, and several Halloween parties beginning at 11:30 AM. Other scheduled activities for October 30 include a Halloween party for Mrs. Garner's 2nd grade class at 11:45 AM, a Halloween party for Hiatt's 2nd grade class at 11:45 AM, and a Halloween party for 3rd Adams at 12:30 PM. Additional parties are scheduled for 1:15 PM and 1:30 PM, including the Bagley 5th grade class Halloween party and a Junior High Halloween Dance at 2:30 PM.
The school is currently highlighting its Surprise Attendance Spotlights, which recently recognized Mrs. Hawkin’s 1st Graders and Mr. Camp’s Utah History class from Friday morning. Students who arrive on time can earn pink tickets in elementary school or SOAR tickets in junior high. Additionally, the school is seeking classroom sponsors to help fund field trips, educational magazines, and classroom materials, with each classroom relying on approximately $500 in support.
Other notable items include ongoing yearbook sales, which are $15 until Christmas Break, $18 until Valentine's Day, or $20 until sold out. Additionally, pre-registration is available for the Missoula Children's Theater show, Rapunzel, which is scheduled for Dec. 7-11. Afterschool Art Class is scheduled through October 27.
