The initiative is part of the Chamber's Marketing Journey, which focuses on teaching businesses how to create multiple opportunities for audience discovery. The Chamber noted that adding events to the calendar serves as an additional layer in a marketing strategy alongside social media and direct invitations.
To use the feature, members can follow a step-by-step tutorial to log into their accounts, locate the Member Event Calendar, and submit their information. Once submitted and approved, the events will appear on the calendar for visitors to discover. The Chamber clarified that while the calendar provides visibility, it does not guarantee separate promotion through Chamber emails or social media.
